Now is the time to begin planning for your summer
job!
SwimAtlanta has many opportunities for seasonal summer work. We are currently
looking for that special person to fill the following positions: Pool Managers, Full-time and Part-time Lifeguards, Substitute Lifeguards, and Swim Lesson Instructors. If you are interested in one of these positions,

(678.985.4030) to set-up an interview.
Interview Information:
When you come to your scheduled interview, please bring your
driver's license (a permit is acceptable), Social Security Card, and
if possible, a letter of reference from a coach or teacher. If you
are already a certified lifeguard, please remember to bring copies
of your certification with you. If you're not certified, you
will have the opportunity to register for a training course at the
interview.
Lifeguard Information:
- No experience required! You will be fully trained prior to starting work.
- You must be at least 15 years old.
- All employees must be Lifeguard Certified. We accept either Red Cross or YMCA certifications.
- SwimAtlanta offers Lifeguard Training courses to its employees throughout the year, but it's best to take the course as early as possible.
- Upon course completion, you will be a certified Lifeguard for 3 years and CPR/AED
for the Professional Rescuer for 1 year.
- For returning guards, SwimAtlanta offers CPR/AED recertification
courses to get you up to date and ready to work.
